Ryu

Voice: Hiroki Takahashi

Capcom "Street Fighter" Series The fighting world warrior who continues his struggle to become a true martial artist.


Ryu once trained under his master, Gouken. Since then, he has participated in many different tournaments, always seeking stronger opponents.


At the same time, Ryu's strict training forms part of his efforts to overcome the destructive potential that slumbers inside his body, the "Satsui no Hadou".


Although he once succumbed to this power in the past, letting it take him over completely, he managed to come back to himself with the help of his friend Ken Masters and other allies.


He now casts aside all doubt and vows that he will master the correct use of just and true power. He believes that power should be used to improve oneself and not for base and selfish motives. When he faces up against power-hungry foes such as Shadaloo and S.I.N., he battles with his unwavering spirit and fists.

Ken Masters

Capcom "Street Fighter" Series The All-American Martial Arts Champion and a student of the same school as Ryu.


Working as the President of the massive Masters Corporation, he lives a busy but happy life, supported by his wife Eliza and young son Mel.


Having removed himself from the strict daily routine of training, he has started to feel a gap between himself and Ryu, who is both his friend and his rival.


For a while this concerned him, but Ken finally came to understand this desire to protect his beloved family is a source of power unique to himself, and so he pledged to seek strength in a different manner from Ryu.


The opposite of the stoic Ryu, Ken has an affable and friendly personality,


Although extremely confident, he also has the chops to back that confidence up.

Chun-Li

Voice: Fumiko Orikasa

Capcom "Street Fighter" Series An ICPO (International Criminal Police Organization) detective and master of Chinese Kung-Fu.


Her quick movements and beautiful kicking techniques have proven the downfall of countless evildoers.


She formerly worked on the investigation into the Shadaloo organization, who were responsible for the death of her father.


After that, while investigating a rash of disappearances among young martial artists, she first came across the name S.I.N., and she began to investigate the links of this new organization to Shadaloo.


Has a strong sense of justice and of duty toward her work, but a part of her also desires to just be a normal young woman.


Strongly determined, she hates indecisiveness. She does, however, love crepes, all manner of sweets, and fruit.

Ingrid

Voice: Masako Jou

Capcom "Street Fighter" Series Her origins are shrouded in mystery and she operates under the orders of some unknown organization.


Although she looks like a cute young girl, she has an old-fashioned way of talking and often speaks and acts at a slow and deliberate pace.


She has a tendency to want to put her years of accumulated wisdom to use by guiding others about how to behave, but recently she's become aware of just how preachy she tends to come off. On the other hand, she's also highly into the latest fads, quick to laugh, and a big animal lover.


In battle, she uses mysterious attacks like throwing glowing orbs, or hurling enemies into the air without even touching them. The mysterious rune that appears when she does these moves also serves as her giant hair ornament.

Dante

Voice: Toshiyuki Morikawa

Capcom "Devil May Cry" Series Owner of the establishment called "Devil May Cry", Dante makes his living as a Devil Hunter.


He has an easygoing, somewhat lackadaisical attitude, but in truth he's always on his game.


As a half-human and half-demon from the bloodline of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda, he has combat and physical abilities that far outstrip those of a normal human. These can further be increased through his transformation into his Devil Trigger, which also grants him the power of flight.


In his human form, he skillfully fights with the Rebellion, a sword once used by his father, and two guns called Ebony & Ivory.


Near the start of his career, he took on the massive tower called Temen-ni-gru, a nest for devils and demons.


He eventually halted their dark aspirations to invade the human world. Unlike his older brother, Vergil, who has abandoned his own links to the human world and with whom he continues to struggle, Dante takes pride in his humanity.

Vergil

Voice: Hiroaki Hirata

Capcom "Devil May Cry" Series Dante's twin older brother and, like him, a demon-human hybrid. Having witnessed his mother's murder at the hands of a demon and experienced the bitter torment of powerlessness, he now dedicates himself exclusively to the pursuit of pure power. Cruel and inhumane, he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.


In his search for power, he climbed to the top of Temen-ni-gru and unsealed the door to the Demon World. There he fought many times against Dante, who seeks to destroy all demons.


For a weapon, Vergil uses the sword, Yamato, once wielded by his father, Sparda.


Since he has chosen to live as a demon, he eschews mortal weapons and refuses to use human-made guns.


A master of the art of iaido, his sword skills are greater than Dante's and in one instant, he can close with his foe and unleash lethal damage.

Chris Redfield

Voice: Hiroki Tochi

Capcom "Resident Evil" Series A member of the anti-bioterrorism organization B.S.A.A. Formerly a member of the elite special forces division of the Raccoon City Police Department, S.T.A.R.S.


After leaving that post, he continued his pursuit of the pharmaceutical company, "Umbrella", the entity responsible for the development of viral weapons.


In his career as a B.S.A.A. Agent he also became involved in the Queen Zenobia cruise ship incident, during which he and Jill succeeded in bringing an end to the organization called Veltro and those behind them.


Tough and resilient, Chris has made it through many seemingly impossible missions, aided by his unfaltering mental strength and keen powers of observation.


Not only is he capable with a variety of weapons, he is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Jill Valentine

Voice: Atsuko Yuya

Capcom "Resident Evil" Series A member of the anti-bioterrorism organization B.S.A.A.


She has partnered with Chris since their time together in S.T.A.R.S. After working with him to resolve the "Mansion Incident" on the outskirts of Raccoon City, she headed into Raccoon City itself in order to investigate Umbrella, the company apparently pulling the strings.


She has been a member of the B.S.A.A. since its founding, along with Chris. She also played a central role in the incident aboard the Queen Zenobia, ultimately destroying the organization called Veltro and those backing them.


Jill has a strong sense of justice, superlative physical capabilities and a solid understanding of the sciences.


Skilled with a lockpick, she has also been known as the "Master of Unlocking".

Leon S. Kennedy

Voice: Toshiyuki Morikawa

Capcom "Resident Evil" Series A former Raccoon City police officer. He now works for the DSO (Division of Security Operations) and answers directly to the President of the United States. His full name is Leon Scott Kennedy.


He began his career as an honest young police officer with a strong sense of justice, though he also made some embarrassing mistakes-- showing up late for his first day of work, for one. However, he has demonstrated growing strength of body and mind in surviving the Raccoon City zombie outbreak, pursing the evil Umbrella Corporation, and rescuing Ashley, the kidnapped daughter of the President.


He is now bold and dauntless, cracking jokes even in the middle of a crisis. He still relies on his incredible survival instincts, backed up by marksmanship and combat skills that he has honed over the years.


He met Ada during the Raccoon incident, when she was running her own covert operation, and the two of them worked together to escape. It was during that experience that Leon fell in love with her, and his feelings have not diminished since then, even after he found out the unexpected truth about her origins.

Ada Wong

Voice: Junko Minagawa

Capcom "Resident Evil" Series A beautiful woman with elite combat skills and superior judgement. Ada is an assumed name, and her real name is unknown.


Formerly affiliated with one of Umbrella's rivals, she infiltrated the zombie-infested Raccoon City to obtain a sample of the company's new virus strain. There she met Leon and adopted a fake identity to use him for her own ends. After he saved her life, however, she started to develop true affection for him.


She went on to support Leon from the shadows during his subsequent exploits, including his rescue of the President's kidnapped daughter and his fight against a new bio-terror threat. Although they are now on opposing sides, her feelings for him remain unchanged.

Demitri Maximoff

Voice: Nobuyuki Hiyama

Capcom "Darkstalkers" Series Head of the House of Maximoff and a Makai noble.


After suffering defeat at the hands of Belial, the King of the Makai, he was exiled to the human world where he battled with Pyron.


Shrouding himself in darkness, he regained his full might and returned again to Makai.


Expecting to do battle with his nemesis, Belial, he found himself instead facing Morrigan who had inherited the throne. Demitri then challenged her in battle with the Makai throne hanging in the balance.


While he acts as a proud and noble gentleman outside of battle, once the fighting starts, his cruel demonic tendencies come to the fore.


He also pays a great deal of attention to his personal appearance, always carrying a can of hairspray tucked away inside his cape.

Morrigan Aensland

Voice: Rie Tanaka

Capcom "Darkstalkers" Series The current head of the House of Aensland, one of the three noble houses of the Makai, Morrigan is also a succubus, an alluring demon who controls dreams in search of excitement and stimulation.


Bored with being waited on hand and foot each day, she stole an eye from Belial, her royal predecessor and guardian, and headed for the human world. While searching for a new reason to live, she came upon creatures, starting with Pyron, who contained mysterious power.


Stimulated by her battles with them, her strength was rekindled and, upon returning home, she learned of the death of Belial. Against her will, she was forced to succeed him to the throne, but she continues to enjoy her free lifestyle.


Her clothing and wings are actually made up of bats, and they can transform themselves into drills, blades and other weapons at her command.

Felicia

Voice: Kana Asumi

Capcom "Darkstalkers" Series Denizen of Makai, she is a member of the catwoman race and has both human and feline characteristics.


As a young child in an orphanage, she watched musicals on TV and fell in love with the idea of becoming a beautiful star, so she left home and decided to travel around the world. Before long, she became the star she dreamed of. After that, she built her own orphanage called "Felicity House" where lonely orphans could lead a happy life, where she works as a "musical sister".


She has great love and respect for Sister Rose, who she calls "Mama" and who cared for her when she was young. Sister Rose was her main motivation for establishing her own orphanage.


Her personality is bright and sunny. She believes, as Mama told her, that you have to go out and seize your own happiness.


As a result, she is always positive and strong and never gives up on her dream even when she suffers a setback.

X

Voice: Takahiro Sakurai

Capcom "Mega Man X" Series A "Reploid", a type of robot that is extremely similar to a human.


X is the leader of the 17th Elite Unit of "Maverick Hunters", the name given to those who deal with incidents caused by Mavericks, Reploids that have suffered an irregularity in their electronic brains.


A forthright warrior who feels a strong desire to protect peace, he has at the same time a caring nature, and so in the past his determination has wavered when his duty demanded he actually destroy a fellow Reploid.


These doubts are themselves unique to X, and the scientific establishment considers them signs of new possibilities for Reploids, but nevertheless the secret power his body conceals is yet to awaken.

Zero

Voice: Ryotaro Okiayu

Capcom "Mega Man X" Series A special A class Hunter with exceptional combat capabilities, and the leader of the Special 0 Unit of Maverick Hunters.


Always calm and collected, he carries out every mission given to him without hesitation.


X is his junior as a Hunter and also his friend, and Zero acts as something of a mentor to him. The two have often worked together to resolve Maverick incidents.


However, when the Reploid militia group, the Repliforce, launched a coup d'état, Zero ended up having to fight against another Reploid named Iris during his handling of the incident.


Although there had been a tender connection between Iris and Zero, for the sake of his mission, Zero ultimately cut her down.


This tragedy has weighed heavily on Zero ever since.

Strider Hiryu

Voice: Kousuke Toriumii

Capcom "Strider" Series A top class agent and member of the futuristic Special Forces group "Striders". A true professional who lets nothing stand in his way, he shows no weakness and is cold enough to eliminate any obstacle that may stand between him and his mission.


Receiving orders to assassinate Grandmaster Meio, who planned to take over the Earth by killing everything alive on it and replacing them with creatures of his own design, Hiryu arrived alone at Meio's base, an artificial city called "The Third Moon", and carried out his mission.


His primary weapon is a light sword called the "Cypher" that uses plasma particles and can slice through anything it hits.


Also, the sickle he carries on his back, the "Climb Sickle", doubles as a climbing tool that he uses to scale walls.

Phoenix Wright

Voice: Takayuki Kondo

Capcom "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" Series A young and passionate lawyer. Close associates also call him "Nick", short for "Phoenix".


He was trained as a lawyer by Mia Fey, Maya's older sister, who died shortly after his training was complete. Phoenix took over her practice and now operates it, with Maya's help, under the name Wright & Co. Law Offices.


Known for wearing his heart on his sleeve, Phoenix can easily be flustered in the courtroom. However, while his exaggerated reactions can sometimes make him the target of mockery, he is in truth a hardworking, honest, and highly capable lawyer. He has an uncanny knack for exposing the contradictions in court testimony no matter how dire the circumstances, using both his naturally sharp instincts and the powers of "turnabout thinking" Mia taught him.


He was in the same class as Miles Edgeworth in elementary school, and back then, Miles always came to his defense whenever Phoenix was in trouble. This experience clearly had a large effect on his own future career choice.

Maya Fey

Voice: Satomi Hanamura

Capcom "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" Series A high school student and assistant to Phoenix. A spirit medium by birth, she is the head of the Fey clan and current master of the Kurain Channeling Technique.


Maya was unfortunate enough to be the one to find her sister Mia murdered. Suspected of the crime herself, she was defended and proven innocent by Phoenix. Ever since then, she has worked at the Wright & Co. Law Offices, doing everything she can to support him.


Naïve and somewhat awkward, she often adopts a superior attitude even towards her elders, including Phoenix himself. Slender though she may be, she eats voraciously and is especially fond of hamburgers. In many ways, however, she shares the interests of other girls her age; she is a massive fan of the live-action superhero show "The Steel Samurai" and an avid follower of Max Galactica, said to be the world's greatest living magician.


Maya is constantly providing Phoenix with invaluable advice. She can also call forth the spirit of Mia, during which time her mannerisms and even appearance resemble those of her sister.

Miles Edgeworth

Voice: Eiji Takemoto

Capcom "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" Series A young, natural-born prosecutor. Miles is always calm, collected, and extremely analytical.


Trained by Franziska von Karma's father, Manfred von Karma, Miles started his career with a long streak of wins. However, he was shunned by his colleagues for his willingness to go to any lengths to secure a guilty verdict, something for which even Phoenix criticized him.


Once, he saw defense lawyers as nothing more than enemies to be trounced, but after Phoenix faced off with and ultimately defeated him, Miles had a change of heart. He came to see lawyers not as foes to fight but rather as trustworthy comrades in the pursuit of truth and justice.


After this, his cold, distanced attitude softened, and when Phoenix was framed for kidnapping Maya, Miles provided his full cooperation toward solving the case and saving them both. He now seeks to walk the path of justice, having even challenged Franziska over her harsh methods. He continues to face off with Phoenix in the courtroom, but now as both a good friend and a professional rival.

Captain Commando

Voice: Ryoutarou Okiayu

Capcom "Captain Commando" Leader of the "Commando Team", a group of brave warriors that combats crime everywhere in space.


His powerful physical gifts are matched by a clear-headed intelligence that makes him an excellent leader. Together with the other team members, he defeated the criminal organization led by the arch-criminal Scumocide.


He is able to shoot electricity and fire from the "power gloves" on his hands. He also can wear various pieces of equipment, including gauntlets that give him excellent punching power, a super alloy Captain Ceramic chest protector that confers incredible heat resistance, and goggles that automatically cross-reference enemy facial data with intergalactic databases of known criminals.

June Lin Milliam

Voice: Yukari Tamura

Capcom "Star Gladiator" Series A member of the special Star Gladiators unit.


Born to an English father and Chinese mother, June grew up in Hong Kong. Her father was killed while working in England, as a result her mother suffered a breakdown and also passed away.


Amidst her grief, June started to hear rumors that her father's death was not an accident. It emerged that he had been murdered by his boss. Dr. Bilstein, who then went on to try to take over the world. June joined the Star Gladiators in order to stop Bilstein and avenge her father. With the aid of Hayato Kanzaki and the other Gladiators, she eventually achieved this goal on the Planet Zeta, the base of Bilsten's so-called Fourth Empire.


A gymnastic fighter, she almost appears to be dance across the battlefield using a series of acrobatic kicks and a weapon called the Plasma Ring. She has strong feelings for Hayato, and the two of them could almost be considered a couple.

Sylphie

Voice: Rie Tanaka

Capcom "Forgotten Worlds" A famous weapons dealer among space warriors. She once assisted two nameless warriors who battled against Emperor Bios, the God of Destruction, by providing them with weapons, medicines, and enemy information.


After the warriors defeated the emperor, she worked to restore the land, Dust World, that had been left in ruins.


She's famous for her mysterious affinity for commerce that allows her to suddenly set up shop even in a raging battlefield.


She's a strong-willed and determined businessperson who has been known to sell her own clothes if they will fetch a high price. If it meant extra sales, she'd even change her name if it came down to it. (And it has.)

Akira Yuki

Voice: Shinichiro Miki

SEGA "Virtua Fighter" Series A young man who continues his martial arts training in order to become the ultimate martial artist.


Born into the famous Yuki Budokan, from a young age the art of Bajiquan, passed from his grandfather to his father and then to him.


In order then test his own abilities, he entered into the World Fighting Tournament, a global contest of martial arts.


However, the reason he continues his training is not just to pursue victory and defeat other fighters, but to see the "stars" that his grandfather taught him were only visible to those who know true strength.


He lives by the motto "None shall harm me, and I shall harm no others," with a righteous heart that seeks to avoid meaningless conflict.

Kage Maru

Voice: Takenobu Mituyoshi

SEGA "Virtua Fighter" Series A ninja and master of jujitsu from the village of Hagakure.


In search of his mother, Tsuki Kage, who was captured by J6 (Judgement 6), he joined a fighting tournament they hosted. In the fourth tournament he was finally reunited with his mother, but she had been turned into the cyborg weapon, Dural.


After seeing her twisted form and realizing there was nothing he could do to save her, the heartbroken Kage Maru destroyed her. However, it turned out that Dural wasn't actually Tsuki Kage at all, but merely a mass-produced cyborg.


At that point, he learned of a new scheme by J6 involving Dural, and he vowed to continue to fight in the hopes of saving his mother and stopping J6's plans.


Although he normally conceals his emotions behind a face of stone, he is a warm-hearted person who tears up when he thinks about his mother.

Pai Chan

Voice: Minami Takayama

SEGA "Virtua Fighter" Series A practitioner of the Mizongquan and an action-movie star.


The daughter of the famous Chinese martial artist Lau, her father's training allowed her to rapidly develop her martial-arts talents from a young age.


However, her father's devotion to training meant he neglected even Pai's sick mother, who eventually died as a result. Because of this, Pai came to detest her father. Hearing that he was going to take part in the World Fighting Tournament, Pai signed up as well in order to defeat him herself.


While Lau also uses the powerful but forbidden Tiger Swallow Fist style, Pai has resisted such temptations.


A friend and training partner to Akira, Pai has a cheerful and determined personality.

Ichiro Ogami

Voice: Akio Suyama

SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series The leader of the Flower Division of the Imperial Assault Force, created to defend the Imperial Capital of Tokyo from the attacks of abhorrent demons.


A direct and honest young man skilled in both the literary and martial arts, he also nurtures a passionate and tenacious heart.


While working at the Imperial Theatre as an admissions ticker puncher, he also led the successful defense against the attacking Hive of Darkness and Black Demon Society.


He went on to study in Paris, where he defeated more monsters, before returning to Japan and fighting off the threat of Okubu Nagayasu.


His impressive track record is the result of his uncanny knack for bringing diverse people under his command and getting them to fight as one.


Bestowed the spirit sword "Shintou-Mekkyaku" by Commander Yoneda, Ichiro vows to continue his endless battle against evil.

Sakura Shinguji

Voice: Chisa Yokoyama

SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A member of the Flower Division of the Imperial Assault Force, she is cheerful and energetic with a strong heart.


Although generally brave, an incident in her past has left her with a fear of lightning.


As a daughter of the line of Shinguji, she possesses of the power of Haja, battling evil with her deceased father's "Reiken-Arataka" demon-slaying blade and her mastery of the Hokushin Itto Ryu sword style. When not busy saving the capital, she has top billing as an actress in the Imperial Theater.


She harbors strong feelings for Ichiro, who supports her both in battle and as an actress. However, she sometimes senses her affections are largely one-sided, and at times she even grows unreasonably jealous.


She's been known to grill Ichiro on what he's been up to with other members of the division. Of course, his meeting with Erica in Paris was no exception.

Erica Fontaine

Voice: Noriko Hidaka

SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A member of the Flower Division of the Paris Combat Revue, a special unit that keeps the peace in Paris, Erica is also a nun-in-training.


While she may specialize in healing powers, it's also not uncommon to see her blazing away with machine guns.


After defeating the monsters attacking Paris with the help of Ichiro and Sakura, she traveled to Japan to return the favor and help them with a new threat.


She has a cheerful and loving personality and is always smiling. However, her excessive energy can sometimes lead to clumsiness, often causing trouble for those around her.


She is also a cabaret dancer for the Parisian Theatre "Chattes Noires." Her "Black Cat Waltz," for which she wears a black catsuit, is particularly popular.

Gemini Sunrise

Voice: Sanae Kobayashi

SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A member of the Star Division of the New York Combat Revue, a unit led by Ichiro Ogami's nephew Shinjiro Taiga, as well as a musical star at New York's Little Lip Theater.


A cowgirl from Texas, she fights using the sword style taught to her by her master Mifune.


Gemini has a cheerful and somewhat naïve personality. She loves silly puns, and her time with her master has also given her a fondness for Japanese samurai and period dramas.


She had an aggressive split personality called Geminine who sought revenge for her master's death, but with the help of Shinjiro she managed to find peace and resolve those issues.

Kazuma Kiryu

Voice: Takaya Kuroda

SEGA "Yakuza: Dead Souls" A former member of the Tojo Clan, a criminal organization based in Kamurocho, Tokyo. He has a tattoo of a dragon on his back and his been called the "Dragon of Dojima".


Although nominally he's a "tough guy", his strong sense of duty leads some to judge him as an easy mark. Still, his rugged masculinity and fighting strength have also won him many fans, and he is one of the most charismatic residents of Kamurocho.


An orphan, Kazuma was raised in the Sunshine Orphange. It was there he started down the criminal path. After taking the rap for a murder perpetrated by his childhood friend Akira Nishikiyama, Kazuma spent 10 years in prison. He was released only to find the Tojo Clan in chaos. After a chance meeting with Haruka, the "10 Billion Yen Girl", he too was pulled into the conflict.


Once the crisis was resolved, Kazuma found himself with the title of Chairman of the Tojo Clan, but he immediately relinquished the position and left to establish the Sunshine Orphanage in Okinawa, where he now raises a group of orphans.

Goro Majima

Voice: Hidenari Ugaki

SEGA "Yakuza: Dead Souls" Head of the Majima family, a group directly affiliated with the Tojo Clan.


Once a member of the Shimano Family, his insanely aggressive combat style earned him the nickname "The Mad Dog of the Shimano Family". Although even his own men are reportedly terrified of him, he also brings a kind of purity into the battle, as he appreciates those who can fight well and accept defeat with good grace. He has a strong sense of duty, excellent judgement, and keen instincts.


He lost his eye defending the honor of his blood brother Taiga Saejima.


While he is friendly with Kazuma, calling him pet names like "Kazzy", he also views him as his main rival.


Goro has no interest in postion or titles, and he even left the Tojo Clan for a while. It was Kazuma who persuaded him to come back, and he now uses his diverse talents to support the clan once more.

Zephyr

Voice: Hiro Shimono

SEGA "Resonance of Fate" A member of a squad of Hunters, people who will complete any job for money.


With no blood relatives, he was raised in a Seminary, but his rejection of its oppressive regime ended up causing a terrible incident.


Dragging his sins behind him, he fell into a self-destructive lifestyle, but after saving Leanne's life and then seeing her own brave struggle against the cruelties of fate, he decided to keep on living in order to support her, and together they attempted to solve the mysteries of the layered tower-city of Basel.


He can be blunt and indifferent and has a bit of a foul mouth. However, deep down he is pure at heart, with a strong sense of teamwork.

Vashyron

Voice: Ken Narita

SEGA "Resonance of Fate" Former military and the leader of the squad of Hunters called "Team Vashyron."


He was the sole survivor of a unit wiped out by a mysterious enemy.


After starting out as a Hunter, he was involved with the suppression an incident at the Seminary, where he encountered Zephyr and then took him under his wing.


He subsequently also took in Leanne, and the three of them now operate the squad together.


While he has strong ties to many of the Cardinals (those in control of Basel), he also enjoys his freedom and never lets anyone control him.

Leanne

SEGA "Resonance of Fate" A member of the same squad of Hunters as Zephyr, Leanne was condemned to die as part of an experiment into the control of life.


She instead decided to take her own life, but Zephyr saved her. Taken in by a squad of Hunters, she discovered a new way of living, and she subsequently set out with Zephyr to uncover the mysteries of the layered tower-city of Basel, in a quest to resist her ultimate fate.


She has bidden farewell to her former pessimistic self, and her new eagerness for strength has led her to go into battle wearing full makeup.


Although she can sometimes be faint-hearted when faced with a direct threat, her determination never to be a hindrance to those around her gives her bravery.

Cardinal Garigliano

Voice: Norio Wakamoto

SEGA "Resonance of Fate" One of the Cardinals, the ruling class of Basel.


An artist who pursues beauty, he has his own unique sense of style. He has a studio in the Forest of Idols, the one area in Basel over which he has jurisdiction.


After meeting and being inspired by Leanne, he built a model of her.


Although he has his eccentricities, such as the way he peers at things through a frame he carries around, he has sound judgement, leadership, and fighting skills. He is a powerful man whose overall capabilities mark him as the number-two Cardinal.

Hotsuma

Voice: Daisuke Kishio

SEGA "Shinobi" Series The young leader of the Oboro clan of ninja. Wielding the cursed sword Akujiki, he works in secret under direct orders from the government.


Although once kind and gentle, he now rarely shows emotion, coming across as cold and distant.


In accordance with the laws of his clan, he became leader by battling and defeating his brother Moritsune, the other candidate. The laws of the clan also forced him to put Moristune to death, leading Hotsuma to close himself off emotionally.


As one would expect from the leader of a clan of ninja, he possesses powerful ninja arts and unmatched skill with a sword. His Stealth Dash technique is so fast that it leaves afterimages behind, and even for other ninja, it is almost impossible to see.

Hibana

Voice: Atsuko Tanaka

SEGA "Shinobi" Series A female ninja and member of the Shinobi Agency.


Although she is of the Oboro clan bloodline, being a girl meant she was unable to vie for the leadership of the clan. Instead, she was sent to be raised by the Mukuro Clan, a branch of the Oboro. She then encountered Jimushi from the Shinobi Agency who taught her the way of the ninja. Finally feeling a sense of acceptance, she grew close to Jimushi, but then one day he suddenly vanished.


Having been abandoned twice, once by the Oboro and again by Jimushi, Hibana has lost all interest in life. She now merely follows orders, generally with a surly and uncaring attitude. Her mantra is "Today's just not my day".


She fights using two swords. The larger one, Utsushiyo, is a prototype weapon created by analyzing the accursed Akujiki and then copying its powers. The smaller blades, Futaba, were given to her by Jimushi when she went out on her first mission for him.

Ryo Hazuki

Voice: Masaya Matsukaze

SEGA "Shenmue" Series A student at Yokosuka High School. Son of the head of the Hazuki Dojo, he learned jujitsu at an early age from his father, Iwao. However, on his 18th birthday, his father was killed by a Chinese man named Lan Di who showed up at the dojo.


While pursuing Lan Di in search of revenge, Ryo discovered that this man was a high-ranking member of a sprawling crime syndicate. He also learned of the secret power contained in two ancient mirrors hidden Lan Di's house-the Dragon Mirror and the Phoenix Mirror.


Ryo has a strict but kind personality and is both humble and polite, thanks to the influence of his father who raised him to be self-sacrificing while maintaining proper manners.


Although his sense of justice makes him opposed to violence, he has inherited his father's stubborn personality and never changes his mind once he's made a decision.


His high school friend, Nozomi Harasaki, has a giant crush on him. However, since Ryo has yet to pick up on this, and he isn't much of communicator to begin with, he tends to be rather brusque with her.

Segata Sanshiro

SEGA "Segata Sanshiro" A powerful man who has mastered the way of play.


To the feckless youth of today, bored by their ephemeral existence, he strives to communicate the value of devoting oneself tirelessly to a task, using himself as the ultimate example. "Segata" is his surname, but everyone always says it first.


Blessed with superhuman reflexes, he is an expert in many martial arts, his many honors including a 1st degree black belt in karate, a 3rd degree black belt in judo, and a 4th degree black belt in battoudo.


He can also break ten tiles with his head, return a baseball from a pitching machine with a kick, and fillet a fish like an expert.


The quintessential man among men, he has a supernatural power called "Dragon Force" that allows him to make identical copies of himself.

SEGA "Space Channel 5" Series A reporter for the space broadcast station "Space Channel 5". Armed with swingin' dances and her journalistic soul, she aims to become the top reporter in the galaxy.


She has reported from the scene of numerous incidents, including the Morolian invasion that forced earthlings to dance and the kidnapping of earthlings by the group called the Rhythm Rogues. While filing her reports, she also used her own dancing skills to resist and ultimately resolve each crisis.


Her vocabulary is unique and her reporting style earnest, which may account for her popularity.


Her favorite food is space Peking duck.

Axel Stone

Voice: Tomokazu Sugita

SEGA "Streets of Rage" Series Policeman and master of martial arts. When he learned that even the police force had been corrupted by the massive criminal syndicate ruling over his city, he resigned in disgust. Along with his partners Blaze and Adam, he vowed to take down the syndicate using only his body as a weapon.


The leader of the syndicate, Mr. X, manged to survive this assault and launched a new plot, but this too was crushed by Axel and his comrades.


Axel has an impulsive personality, leading him to provoke his enemies. However, he's a passionate defender of justice, and he despises seeing innocent people fall victim to the ambitions of criminals.


Now he's back in the police force as a member of the special criminal investigation division.

Jin Kazama

When he was a child, Heihachi drilled him in Mishima Style Fighting Karate, until one day Heihachi dropped him off a cliff. Though severely injured, he survived, but he grew to loathe Heihachi as a result. When the first King of Iron Fist Tournament was held, he defeated his father and seized control of the Mishima Zaibatsu.


In the second tournament, Heihachi took revenge and threw him into a volcano, which awakened his Devil Gene and saved his life. He then had G Corporation study his devil transformation, and in time learned to control it.


A cold and ruthless man, he would gladly kill his own flesh and blood in order to perfect his devil power.

Ling Xiaoyu

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tekken" Series A student at Mishima High School and classmate of Jin.


Originally, in order to achieve her dream of creating a theme park, she made contact with Heihachi, who was then head of the Mishima Zaibatsu. It was then that she learned of the deep animosity that existed between members of the Mishima family.


After seeing the suffering Jin endured as a result of this, she grew determined to try and help him out, following after him when he set off on his own.


Although she has a habit of sticking her nose into others' affairs, she is kind at heart and honestly wishes for the resolution of the conflicts within the Mishima family.


She has a pet panda with whom she is very close.

Heihachi Mishima

Voice: Unsho Ishizuka

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tekken" Series A master of Mishima Style Fighting Karate, he is also known as the "King of Iron Fist".


Just as the name suggests, he has fists capable of destroying everything in his path, and also the force of will to return alive from even the most devastating explosion.


Cold and ruthless, he even manipulates members of his own family, prepared to mercilessly crush anyone who stands against him.


The Devil Gene found in his son, Kazuya, and grandson, Jin, quickly caught his attention, and he hurried to find a way to obtain that power for himself.


He was also extremely aware of the toil his advancing age was taking upon his body. After considerable research, he succeeded in creating a pharmaceutical fountain of youth.


Once he used the drug on himself, he was restored to a younger and more powerful body.

Yuri Lowell

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" A young man who lives in the lower quarter of the Imperial Capital, Zaphias, and a member of the guild "Brave Vesperia".


Formerly a member of the Imperial Knights, he left them after becoming disillusioned with the corruption within the Empire.


After that, a chance encounter with Estelle led to a journey across the world. During this adventure, he was confronted with the revival of the potentially world-ending Adephagos, but with the aid of his companions he brought an end to that threat.


Although often cynical, he has a strong sense of justice and possesses an earnest desire to aid the weak and powerless.

Flynn Scifo

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" A member of the Imperial Knights who grew up with Yuri, Flynn is a sincere youth who respects law and order above all else.


He has a strong desire to support the Empire and protect its people by his own sword, but his blind loyalty prevented him from seeing the evil ambition festering within the knights.


Once Yuri awakened him to this reality, Flynn worked alongside the Brave Vesperia guild to resolve the crisis.


After this, his role as leader of the knights took him on a different path from Yuri, but they continued to fight side-by-side, together eventually defeating the threat of the Adephagos.

Estelle

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" Princess of the Empire. Estelle is a nickname given to her by Yuri; her full name is Estellise Sidos Heurassein.


She has the ability to use healing artes without the need for a Blastia. It was obsession with this power that led the Commandant of the Imperial Knights, Alexei, to take her captive, but ultimately she was rescued by Yuri and her other friends.


After this, they went on to defeat the Adephagos, opening the way for her to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a picture-book writer.


She has an innocent and kind demeanor, and she always puts others first. While warm and gentle-mannered, she also knows little of the world, and her guileless comments can sometimes cause problems for those around her.

Ciel Alencon

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series Vice Captain of Blood, a Special Forces Unit based out of Fenrir's mobile fortress, Friar.


She grew up in the Magnolia Compass orphanage, where she was trained in advanced warfare from an early age. She excels at close-range combat and is an expert tactician.


A cool and collected rationalist, she once valued rules and mission objectives over all else. As a result, she tended to act stiff and formal and had trouble communicating with her companions. However, now that she has spent time with the warmhearted members of Blood, who value their friends' lives far more than any rules, she has begun to loosen up and express herself more freely.


Ciel is also an expert at customizing Bullets, a type of weapon used with gun-form God Arcs. Should the subject come up, she will happily talk about them for hours.

Nana Kozuki

Voice: Emiri Kato

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series A bright and easygoing God Eater who works together with Ciel in Blood.


Though small in stature, she is surprisingly strong, as evidenced by the incredibly heavy hammer-type God Arc she swings around in battle as easily as a toy.


Her mother, Yoshino, was also a God Eater, with the inadvertent effect that Nana was also born with a bias factor. As a result, she now has an unusual constitution that acts like a magnet for Aragami, which she has turned to her advantage by acting as a decoy during Blood missions.


Nana's favorite food is the "Oden Sandwich", which is made with konyaku, chikuwa, daikon radishes, and other oden ingredients. She first learned how to make it from her mother, but she has since come up with all sorts of variations on her own.

Alisa Amiella

Voice: Maaya Sakamoto

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series A new type of God Eater from Russia. Her full name is Alisa Ilinichina Amiella.


Her select status as a new type of God Eater and her exemplary training results have made her keenly aware of her elite nature, to the point that she initially looked down on her allies.


She lost her parents to Aragami at a young age. As a direct effect of this childhood trauma, she took actions during a mission that caused Lindow to go MIA, giving her something of a mental breakdown. However, with the support of her allies, she managed to recover. In fact, she found she was able to cooperate far more effectively now that she had opened up to those around her.


She also participated in the search for Lindow, ultimately rescuing him alive.


She is serious and studious, with a dislike for cooking.

Kite

Voice: Sayaka Aida

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series One of the legendary PCs (player characters) called ".hackers" from the online game "The World".


Kite once used the power of the Twilight Bracelet entrusted to him by Aura to resolve a far-reaching virus incident whose repercussions extended even into the real world.


He is currently equipped with a new Twilight Bracelet.


He has a warm and calm personality and is an excellent leader, although he has a tendency to worry too much about trivial things.


In real life, he's a junior high school student.

Haseo

Back when he first started playing, one of his guildmates, a girl named Shino, was PKed and turned into a Lost One by Tri-Edge, a PC who looked identical to Kite. Burning with anger, Haseo set off to find Tri-Edge and exact revenge. As he gathered new companions, he learned about AIDA, an AI data anomaly not bound by the rules of the game world, and he discovered that he possesses a special power known as an Avatar.


For a time after Shino was lost, Haseo kept strictly to himself and avoided contact with other players. But once he met Atoli, a PC who looks like Shino, and Kuhn-- who went out of his way to warn him about the dangers of Avatars--he learned the value of using strength to protect rather than attack. In time, his PC evolved through Job Extend quests, reflecting Haseo's own growth as a person.


Together with his friends, Haseo went on to learn about the truth about AIDA that threatened to cast the The World into Chaos.


He is socially awkward by nature, and his contemptuous attitude still comes out at times, but inside his heart is slowly becoming warmer and more compassionate.

Aura

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series An NPC created by the developer of the World, Harald Hoerwick in a plot to develop the ultimate AI. She has the ability to grow in a humanlike fashion by studying how to think how humans do.


While she was being pursued by the controlling program of The World, Morganna, who wanted to shut her down, Aura sent a message to Kite asking for his help.


Learning about the human heart from his subsequent struggle, she finally performed a very human act, sacrificing herself.


However, a few months later, she was reborn, and now she watches the events unfold as the will of The World.

Reiji Arisu

BANDAI Namco Entertainment "Namco X Capcom" An agent of Shinra, a special unit directly affiliated with the government and created to deal with supernatural phenomena, monsters, and such.


He is a practitioner of Gogyo Sword Drawing, which involves the rapid drawing and then sheathing again of his swords, he fights using the flaming Japanese sword "Karin", the lightning-calling sword "Chirai", a shotgun called "Hollywood" and a magnum called "Gold."


After his most recent case, he has also started to use the ice blade "Sorin", which was previously used by his father.


While serious and collected, he is also strong-willed and passionate on the inside.


The scar on his forehead was caused by Saya during the battle in which he lost his father.

Xiaomu

Voice: Omi Minami

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Namco X Capcom" A member of Shinra and Reiji's partner, she has been in the organization for (considerably) longer than he has.


Although she looks like a young girl, she is actually a 765-year old "Sage Fox," a type of vulpine monster.


After Reiji's father Shougo was killed in the course of a Shinra mission, she taught Reiji how to fight in his place.


During combat she uses a swordstick called "Suiren" and two pistols called "Silver" and "Platinum". She also uses various mystical arts, talismans, divination and even professional wrestling.


She is always cheerful, if a little cheeky. Her devotion to her hobbies (anime, comics, games, the internet) qualifies her as a high-level otaku.

Chizuru Urashima

Voice: Mariko Kouda

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "PXZ2 Original" An agent of Shinra like Reiji and Xiaomu. Head of the Equipment Division.


She appears to be in her early to mid-20s, but her actual age remains unknown. She oversees every weapon and piece of equipment used at Shinra and also handles R&D and maintenance entirely on her own. Thanks in part of her wide range of highly technical duties, she has begun to insist that Reiji and Xiaomu address her as "Doctor".


In addition to her other roles, she also serves as the driver for her local-use heavy-duty transport, the Dragonturtle Mk. I. Thanks to this mobility, she often heads directly to crime scenes on her own.


Although most of the time she is relaxed and laid-back, she is also eccentric and not infrequently stubborn, which can be a source of trouble for anyone in the vicinity. She also made sure the Dragonturtle Mk. I included a shop for buying and selling items to and from her companions, ensuring that she is equipped to take maximum advantage of any potentially lucrative situations. Or, as she might put it, "ready to pounce, commercial-wise."

KOS-MOS

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Xenosaga" Series An anti-Gnosis battle android created by the massive interstellar conglomerate Vector Industries. To facilitate smoother communication, she is equipped with an imitation personality OS.


Although she speaks in a mechanical voice and is not supposed to have a heart, on rare occasions she can be moved by emotions in the same way as a human girl, her tone of speech becoming much more elegant and gentle.


She has progressed through a series of bodies, from the test type Ver.1, to the combat type Ver.2, to the upgraded Ver.3. After a fierce battle with T-elos, she was rebuilt into her current body, Ver.4.

Natsu

Voice: Fuyuka Oura

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Soulcalibur V" A ninja from the demon-sealing Fu-Ma Clan.


She has a cheerful and positive personality, but she is also highly spirited and hates to be confined. This combination often leads to her to break the rules of her clan.


She was raised by Chie, the head of her village, and trained by her "master" Taki in the Musoh-Battoh-Ryu style of dual swordfighting. Her two swords, Kuzukiri and Awayuki, are named after sweets that she heard were popular in the city.


She was possessed by the great demon Arahabaki while she was still young and can now call upon his supernatural powers. However, each time she does so, she faces the danger of weakening the seal Taki placed on her body.

Aty

Voice: Ayako Kawasumi

BANDAI Namco Entertainment "Summon Night 3" Aty used to be an elite soldier in the Empire's army before leaving to become a private tutor for a single child. When she embarked on a boat trip with that child to the regional capital, their ship was attacked by pirates and she was tossed into the ocean. There, a mysterious voice guided her to acquire the power of the magic sword Shartos, which enabled her to rescue her pupil.


In time, she and her charge drifted onto an unknown island, where they met the native inhabitants pirates, and the guardians of the island's village. Soon she also came to learn about the mysterious relic known as the Evocation Gate and the secrets about her new sword.


Aty is naturally polite and gentle, and sometimes she seems unaware of the ramifications of her actions, but she is also devoted to her pupil and friends and will do anything she can to protect them.

Valkyrie

While she has the strength of conviction to bravely face down whatever challenges confront her, she is also possessed of a merciful and meek personality, and she is unfailingly polite.


In battle, she attacks with exceptional sword skills and a variety of magic.


When the Demon King Zouna was reawakened and persecuted the people of Earth, she stood against him, ultimately defeating him.


After that, the Demon Kamuz also appeared, stealing from mortals the Golden Seed that grants any wish to use it to rule the world. Valkyrie descended to Earth once more to face this new crisis and restore peace, and after a long battle, she managed to seal Kamuz away.

Miyuki

BANDAI Namco Entertainment "Ordyne" A girl who runs a shop out of her airship called the "Air Inn".


When the inventor and genius Yuichiro Tomari took to the skies in his fighter craft called "My Ship" to do battle with the evil Kubota, Miyuki provided support by selling him a variety of items.


Although she interacts cheerfully with her customers, she is also a cunning merchant who always has a tempting special deal on hand. Her ship has a large trumpet-like device on the side that she uses to suck in customers.

Tarosuke

Voice: Ai Orikasa

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Shadow Land" A young boy who took a trip through hell while still alive. He was sent there as punishment by God, to be judged by the King of Hell for all the mischief he caused.


While he still maintains a naïve, childish side, he is also a bit wild and something of a letch, always trying to get it on with Otohime and any other pretty girls who come along.


When fighting with the "yokai" monsters he encountered during his travels through hell, he unleashed Ki bullets using his mental powers and also called forth his guardian ancestor Monmotaro to attack.

Otohime

Voice: Miyuki Matsushita

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Shadow Land" Mistress of the Ryugo-jo, located at the bottom of the Ghost Sea, one of the worlds of hell. Dressed in opulent robes, she has a gentle personality and a tender demeanor.


After Tarosuke saved one of her turtles from danger, she rewarded him richly. She is known as a generous host who personally welcome visitors.

Fiora

Voice: Eri Nakao

Nintendo "Xenoblade Chronicles" A girl from a parallel world called Bionis. Tough and active, she is always looking out for others.


She fought to protect her home, Colony 9, when it was attacked by hostiles from Mechonis, but she was critically injured by the Mechon called Metal Face. As a result, the Mechon took her away and converted approximately 70% of her body into a machine. Her body also became the vessel for Meyneth, the soul of Mechonis, and their two personalities now reside together.


Fiora has since reconciled with the thought of hosting Meyneth, and during battle she fights using both a wide range of weapons and Meyneth's supernatural abilities.

Chrom

Voice: Tomozaku Sugita

Nintendo "Fire Emblem Awakening" Descendant of the Hero-King Marth and prince of the Halidom of Ylisse, a country that worships the divine dragon, Naga.


He wields the legendary sword Falchion, a weapon passed down through the line of kings. He is also the captain of the Shepherds, a militia that he established to defend the kingdom.


He is currently fighting to defeat the Risen that have appeared in each region and to prevent the ambitions of the Grimleal. This dark cult is dedicated to the Fell Dragon Grima, a monster who promises to bring about the end of the world.


Chrom is a brave youth with a strong sense of justice and deep affection for his allies. He was initially shaken after learning the truth about Lucina, but now he views her simultaneously as a trustworthy companion and as his beloved daughter.


He trains daily with his sword, which often results in considerable destruction to the general vicinity.

Lucina

Nintendo "Fire Emblem Awakening" Chrom's daughter.


She traveled back in time from a ravaged future in which the revived Fell Dragon Grima has destroyed the world. In Lucina's world, Chrom was betrayed and slain by one of his comrades, and she intends to find the one responsible and prevent it from happening again.


In order to avoid becoming entangled in history, she started out wearing a mask and using the name of the ancient hero "Marth." However, Chrom gradually picked up on the truth about her.


Her strength of will is a great asset to her, though at times it manifests as pure stubbornness. She has a fierce devotion to refining her sword technique through daily practice, and like her father tends to wreak havoc on her surroundings in pursuit of this. She maintains a serious demeanor most of the time, yet on occasion the strangest things will prompt a laugh. She also has a fairly unique sense of fashion. While she views Chrom as someone to protect, she also reveres him as her beloved father and acts as a dutiful daughter to him.

Tiki

Voice: Ikue Otani

Nintendo "Fire Emblem Awakening" A descendant of the divine dragon tribe, rulers of the Manakete dragon tribe. The people revere her as an oracle, the Voice of the divine dragon Naga.


She has lived for thousands of years and even once fought as a friend alongside the Hero-King Marth. She is intelligent and thoughtful, but she can also be prone to curious leaps in logic, as well as sudden bouts of sleepiness. Her foul moods upon being awakened have become the stuff of legend among the rest of the army.


She joins Chrom to restore peace using the power of the Fire Emblem, a treasure of the Halidom of Ylisse that is said to be able to grant wishes.

Although she was ostensibly cooperating with S.I.N. and carrying out assassinations for them under the codename "Spider", she actually had secret designs to use her superior, Seth, for her own ends.


Short-tempered and cunning, she is also often provocative and derogatory, with a bit of a mouth. Additionally, she is a hedonist who enjoys destruction for its own sake, and the majority of her actions are determined by whether or not she thinks it will be fun.

M. Bison

In order to cheat death, he regularly prepares substitute bodies, preferring especially those of women or powerful fighters due to their durability. His Psycho Power can also control other humans, enabling him to use them as substitute bodies or simply add them to his organization's firepower.


His latest evil plot is to take over the world using his secret weapon, the Psycho Drive.


Like much about him, the origin of his name is shrouded in mystery, and it's rumored that he takes other identities when he travels overseas.

One day, however, Sigma suddenly rebelled against the humans he was designed to coexist with, causing him to be branded as a Maverick. At first glance, one might almost find him endearing. Ciseaux himself, however, is very sensitive about the cuteness of his appearance.


His primary hobby is cutting up things weaker than himself with a large pair of scissors.


In the past, he attacked a party and a dance contest in Paris, facing off against Ogami while riding in his Steam Beast, Prelude.

Coco ★ Tapioca SEGA "Space Channel 5" Series Dancing Robot No. 1, created by the Morolians. It invaded a human spaceport, forcing the earthlings there to dance.


It attacks with the Yellow Morolian line-dancing mecha housed inside its body, and it can also fire beams from its mouth.

Zagi remained fixated on his relentless pursuit of Yuri, attacking him time after time even as the entire world faced disaster. In the end, Zagi was defeated in Tarqaron and plummeted away, presumably to his death.

On the surface, he looks exactly like Kite, even wielding the same triple-edged blades, but otherwise he is very different from regular PCs. He is able to float, teleport, and split into three separate versions, enabling him to attack an opponent from different directions simultaneously.


When Haseo first tracked him down, Azure Flame Kite defeated him easily and used his Data Drain ability to revert Haseo's PC to its initial state. At first he was believed to be the same kind of being as AIDA, but as other PCs thought to be his allies have been known to oppose AIDA, the truth remains a mystery.

She fights with three swords called "Homura", "Kouri", and "Kusabi", a grenade launcher called "Kurotsuchi", and short sword coated in poison called "Shinogi". She is also skilled in the mystical arts of the werefox.


She has a very laid-back personality and takes things at her own pace, often interacting with others in a contemptuously nonchalant way.


It appears that she also has a long history with the Arisu family.

Dokugozu

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Namco X Capcom" A member of Ouma and one of Saya's henchmen, he is a monster with the head of a cow.


He possesses a wild personality and speaks in a rough manner, though he addresses Saya as "ma'am".


As his external appearance suggests, he is powerful and tough, attacking with swings of his poison axe "Dokudofu" or by breathing out poison mist.

In combat, it primarily uses the energy stored in its chest for projectiles and the high-powered beam sabers on both of its arms for melee. Its arms can also be fired as projectiles in their own right and controlled remotely.


Incidentally, the golden chains that appeared in each world were originally released from Byaku Shin's body, as a kind of beacon used to pinpoint each of Kyuju Kyu's parts that had been scattered across dimensions.

Judgement Six SEGA "Virtua Fighter" Series A giant corporate conglomerate formed from six companies, colloquially known as "J6".


J6 has its fingers in several different pots, from weapons development to political activities. Behind closed doors, it even has plans to take over the world.


It hosts the World Fighting Tournament primarily to test the capabilities of Dural, one of its flagship weapons, as well as to locate other promising samples for study.

Hagakure Village SEGA "Virtua Fighter" Series The home of the Hagakure ninja clan, which has long operated in secret in the shadows of history.


The village of Hagakure used to be Kage Maru's home. However, one day, Judgement Six attacked the village and slaughtered every other member of the clan. Kage Maru's father was killed, and his mother, Tsuki Kage, was taken away.


The name "Kage Maru" has been passed down from generation to generation among the members of the Hagakure family line. The Kage Maru we know is actually the tenth to hold the title.

Imperial Assault Force SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A defensive corps of its Flower Division ride in humanoid weapons "spirit armor", which require spiritual power to operate, and together they fight against demons who assault Tokyo. Simultaneously, they are also a celebrated theater troupe, performing out of the Imperial Theater in Ginza.


The first commander was the Army Lieutenant General Ikki Yoneda, whose post was eventually passed to Ogami.

Kouma SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series Abhorrent demons that appeared in the Imperial Capital and threatened the entre region.


The Kouma Experiments were an attempt to draw, store, and unleash energy from the demon world. With their failure, the entire country of Yamato was annihilated. The spite and malice of its dead citizens was then fused with magic to create these monsters.


They have the ability to evolve by taking over human bodies.

Paris Combat Revue SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A secret organization created to protect the peace in Paris.


Their "Groupe Fleur de Paris" combat unit is comprised of a variety of colorful individuals, including Erica, all under the command of Countess Isabella "Grand-Mère" Lilac. When they're not furiously engaged in battle, the members are performers at the Theatre Chattes Noires.


During combat they pilot the "Kobu F" and "Kobu F2", whose designs were based on those of the Imperial Assault Force units.

Great Oak Tree SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A tree that embodied the malice of the ancient "Parisii" people, whose homeland of Paris was put to the sword by a Roman invasion long ago.


It spread countless branches and roots all surging with terrible power, destroying much of Paris and causing large-scale damage overall.


In the face of this threat, the Paris Combat Revue used their ultimate weapon, the Revolver cannon, to fire the Kobu F2s piloted by Erica and her teammates inside the heart of the tree, where they attacked and destroyed its core.

New York Combat Revue SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series An organization established in New York with the same principal goal as the Imperial Assault Force and Paris Combat Revue: To protect the city from supernatural threats.


These guardians are commanded by Michael Sunnyside, who also owns the Little Lip Theater that forms their base of operations.


The members of the Star Division combat unit, of whom Gemini is one, both defend the city in their "STAR" spirit armors and perform onstage at the theater as musical stars.

The Demon Blade SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A sword containing the soul of Nobunaga Oda, one of the major players of Japan's Warring States period.


Though Nobunaga was once believed to have perished in the Honno-ji incident, it was later revealed that he had returned as "Nobunaga Demon Lord of the 6th Heaven". However, his return was short-lived, as the Five Star Warriors managed to seal his soul into the Demon Blade.


As generations passed, the sword made its way to New York, where it was displayed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Japan exhibit. Upon finding the sword, Ranmaru stole it with the hopes of resurrecting Nobunaga once again, but he was foiled in his attempts by Gemini and the other members of the New York Combat Revue's Star Division.


The sword is currently shattered into fragments, the result of Ranmaru attempting to free Nobunaga's soul.

Generator SEGA "Sakura Wars" Series A small warp device used by Ranmaru and Nobunaga Oda's army.


During the attack on the Little Lip Theater, these devices were meant to summon enemy robots carrying bombs that would blow up the theater, but the plan was thwarted thanks to the swift efforts of the New York Combat Revue.

Kamurocho SEGA "Yakuza: Dead Souls" An entertainment district full of dreams and desires, located in the heart of Tokyo. It is home to a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and other entertainment facilities that offer fun and pleasure to any who come visit. The Millennium Tower skyscraper in the center of the district is its most notable landmark.


West of the tower lies Theater Square, which houses the Club Sega arcade, a bowling alley, a movie theater, and many other amusement spots.


Kiryu and Majima have a great fondness for this town, which has helped people from all walks of life, and they have kept it safe from numerous hostile groups who have meant it harm over the years. At present, Kamurocho finds itself overrun with zombies, and as such has been quarantined in order to prevent further damage from spreading.

Thanatos SEGA "Yakuza: Dead Souls" A bacteriological weapon that has been released without warning in Kamurocho.


It spreads through bodily fluids. Once infected, the victim's brain begins to secrete high amounts of narcotics, inducing an intense sensation of pleasure in the victim, who then instinctively begins to attack other people in the drive to share this pleasure.


Although victims' gait and bared teeth would seem to mark them as zombies, some victims have gone on to suffer mutations, while others have had Thanatos used on them to create "Experimentals". Experimentals and mutated victims are classified as different type of creatures altogether, and are able to move far quicker than normal humans.

Basel SEGA "Resonance of Fate" The name of a giant device created to restore the natural environment and ecology of the Earth. Here, it refers to the layered city that has been built around the device.


The top layer is governed by the upper-class "Cardinals", while each level below that carries with it a corresponding increase in poverty and danger.


The public "Square Garden" facility that lies on the top floor is often used for parties and other events, and couples who get married there are said to live happily ever after.

Hunter SEGA "Resonance of Fate" Hunters are members of private military firms that will undertake any job for the right price, including those not necessarily involving hunting.


There are a wide range of Hunter squads in Basel, including Team Vashyron, comprised of Zephyr, Leanne, and their leader Vashyron.

Seminary SEGA "Resonance of Fate" A Seminary located in Cranktown in the layered city of Basel.


The Seminary is a facility devoted to the religion worshipped by the people of Basel, where Zephyr once lived.


Zephyr, however, eventually rejected the dogmas of blind devotion and strict religious restrictions, leading the adults there to brand him as an infidel child. This conflict culminated in a terrible incident that led to the deaths of many within the Seminary, and now the facility is completely derelict.

Shinobi Agency SEGA "Shinobi" Series A ninja organization that protects VIPS, carries out top-secret missions, and engages in illegal activities, such as assassination, all at the behest of governmental agencies. Their existence remains hidden from the general public.


The agency gives orders to currently living ninja and sends them wherever they're needed. As far as ninja are concerned, orders from the agency are absolute.

Oboro Clan SEGA "Shinobi" Series The strongest of the ninja clans, they have succeeded in unifying ninja from all across Japan.


Since ancient times, the Oboro have lived in the shadows of history, receiving orders from contemporary authorities and saving the world in secret.


The Oboro clan has strict traditions to which they adhere in order to remain the strongest of all ninja clans. One of these traditions is the battle to the death to determine the clan's next leader.

Akujiki SEGA "Shinobi" Series A cursed katana infused with the power of yin and yang that has been passed down through the Oboro clan for generations.


The path of yin and yang states that all living things contain both yin (darkness) and yang (light). Akujiki is drawn to the yin of those steeped in evil and wickedness, absorbing and feeding off it.


By consuming evil yin, the sword gains unparalleled strength, but if it is unable to quench its hunger, it will feed on the soul of its wielder. As such, whoever wields Akujiki must continue to slay enemies in order to keep it satiated. This is the cursed fate of all those who carry it.

Nakatomi Conglomerate SEGA "Shinobi" Series A huge multinational corporation that was founded in the latter half of the 19th century, enjoying continuous growth to the present day.


On the surface, it has business interests in a wide range of industries, but in secret, it has close ties to the government.


Nakatomi also owns a ninja command team that it contracts out as mercenaries. The corporation has created the cybernetic ninja Kurohagane in a lab is believed to be working on other secret plans.

Phoenix Mirror SEGA "Shenmue" Series A stone mirror that Ryo's father, Iwao, found in China. A treasure of one of China's ancient dynasties, its twin is the Dragon Mirror.


Legends surrounding these mirrors say that "When the Dragon and the Phoenix meet, the gates of Heaven and Earth will open, and Chiyou will resurrect itself on Earth." Chiyou is a monster from Chinese folklore that was said to have an appetite so great it would consume the entire world.


If the legends are true, it seems clear that these two mirrors possess some kind of special power, but the details remain unknwon.

Space Channel 5 SEGA "Space Channel 5" Series One of the "Space Channels", which use a long-range broadcasting system that operates via dimensional curving to cover a radius of 1.5 million light years. If there is a better use of this technology than to put awesome TV everywhere, humanity has yet to discover it.


With no key programming, the channel had floundered with meager viewership for years, but Ulala's popular reports have recently drawn attention back to it.


The channel's official name is "Space Broadcasting Station No.5 Co. Ltd.", and its business philosophy is "pioneer the space age".

The Ulala Report Show SEGA "Space Channel 5" Series A news program that features Ulala as reporter, officially titles "Ulala's Swinging Report Show." It is broadcast on Space Channel 5.


As one of the first reporters on the scene of the Morolian attack, she continued her live reports all the way through to the resolution of the crisis. Consequently, her show is now the most popular on the station.

Morolian SEGA "Space Channel 5" Series Aliens that once attacked a spaceport and space luxury liner, making the humans there dance using dance beams.


Possessed of a high level of technology, they have created a variety of different Dancing Robots.


As Ulala pursued the story, it came to light that the Morolians had been brainwashed to be the fall guys in a plan to boost ratings by the CEO of Space Channel 5, Chief Blank.


After the Chief was taken care of and the incident resolved, the Morolians entered into an agreement of cooperation with Space Channel 5.

The Syndicate SEGA "Streets of Rage" Series A criminal organization led by Mr. X which has overrun cities across the U.S. with crime and violence, leaving ordinary citizens fearing for their lives and livelihoods every day.


Its ranks include martial artists, hoodlums, and members of the violence-loving group "Neo-Chaos", all of them strong fighters that Mr. X has hired with his considerable ill-gotten gains.


They will stop at nothing to achieve their goals and have no qualms resorting to kidnapping, raxine bombs, and other cowardly methods.

Raxine Bomb SEGA "Streets of Rage" Series A bomb made of the element raxine, atomic number 122. When raxine breaks down, it releases enormous amounts of radiation, giving it frightening levels of destructive power.


Once, Mr. X had raxine bombs dropped on Wood Oak City, a catastrophe that left over 30,000 dead and 80,000 injured.


Not content to stop there, Mr. X sought to import even greater quantities of raxine, intending to disperse it via a robot army throughout the world, detonate it all at once, and incite global war. Fortunately, his nefarious schemes were stopped by Axel and his friends before they could come to fruition.

Mishima Zaibatsu BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tekken" Series One of the most powerful coporations in the world, with capital equal to that of an entire country.


While it's known for holding the King of Iron Fist Tournament on numerous occasions, it is also deeply involved in military-related industries. The Mishima Zaibatsu even has its own private corps called the Tekken Force.


It was formerly run by Heihachi Mishima, followed by his son Kazuya. The current CEO is Jin.

Terca Lumireis BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" The world where Yuri lives.


The ground and the air of this world is full of "aer", source of the the energy that makes up all things. People use this power in every field of their everyday lives through devices called "blastia".


There are multiple continents, all of them under the jurisdiction of the Empire. However, class division and political corruption is spreading discontent among the populace, and many citizens have reacted by forming groups called "guilds" that seek independence from the Empire.

Brave Vesperia BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" The guild that Yuri belongs to. It was established at the suggestion of one of Yuri's companions, Karol.


It was named by Estelle after the brightest star in the night sky.


The guild's purpose is to "do justice and punish the unjust," and members of the guild are never to act without considering the humanity of their actions.

Tree of Halure BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" A type of blastia called a Barrier Blastia, which are used to protect a region from monsters, and in this case organically fused with three different types of tree.


The name "Halure" itself comes from the first two letters of Harmonea, Luluria and Renen respectively, the names of these three trees.


There is a town built up around the tree.

Ancient Tower of Tarqaron BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" A massive tower built by an ancient civilization.


Originally created as a city to be lived in, it was later converted into a giant weapon for use against the Entelexeia, intelligent creatures that feed on aer.


It was revived by Duke, who wanted to use it to defeat the Adephagos at the cost of all human life, but Yuri and his companions climbed the tower and confronted him in order to end his flawed scheme.

Adephagos BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Tales of Vesperia" A world-eating disaster spoken of on Terca Lumireis.


It was formed from a combined mass of Entelexeia that underwent transformation from absorbing too much aer.


The Adephagos was sealed away long ago in the Enduring Shrine of Zaude, but that seal was broken by the Commandant of the Imperial Knights, Alexei, who was under the belief that Zaude was a weapon. This threw the world into chaos, but ultimately Yuri and his companions were able to defeat the Adephagos.

Aragami BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series A collection of the single-celled organisms called Oracle Cells, which exist simply to consume everything. They appeared suddenly on Earth and subsequently propagated at a staggering rate.


They have been classified into a number of different groups.


The hunger of the Aragami has reduced the world Alisa, Ciel, and Nana come from to ruins, with the few remaining pockets of humanity fearing them as "the ultimate devourers" and " the ones who bring destruction".


Furthermore, a new type of Aragami known as a "psion" has recently appeared. It can unleash devastating disruptive pulses, which have been confirmed to temporarily disable existing God Arcs.


Members of the Blood fighting force, who possess Blood Power, are currently the only ones capable of combating this new threat.

God Eater BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series The name given to those who wield the anti-Aragami weapons called God Arcs.


God Arcs have consumption-related capabilities that make them effective even against the hard bodies of the Aragami. Only God Eaters who have come into contact with Oracle Cells and proven they are compatible are able to use these weapons.


It is because the God Arcs consume the flesh of the Aragami that those who combat them have become known as "God Eaters".

Fenrir Far East Branch BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series One of the facilities set up by the former biochemical corporation Fenrir, the inventors of the God Arcs, which serves as an Aragami research center and a base for God Eaters. Also known as "The Den".


There are Fenrir branches across the world, but the fighting is particularly fierce around the Far East Branch.


Alisa used to be a member of the Far East Branch's 1st Unit.

Blood BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series A special fighting force founded by Dr, Rachel Claudius, a member of the Fenrir Research Institute "Friar".


It is comprised of third-generation God Eaters, each of whom possess the potential to surpass the abilities of the second generation. Each member is endowed with "Blood Power", giving the team its name.


Ciel and Nana are both members of Blood, with Ciel serving as the current sub-leader.

Cradle BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series An independent support unit for the Fenrir Far East Branch. Its primary missions are to help people living in areas outside of Fenrir's jurisdiction, and to reclaim and cultivate areas that have been cleared of Aragami.


Under Alisa's leadership, Cradle has managed to grow the number of "satellite base" residential zones, and is working hard to create more living spaces in which to house the expanding population. Securing safe and sustainable homes isn't easy, as it requires Cradle to seek out satellite candidate sites and establish supply routes that can be used to safely transport goods, but they have done much to earn the people's trust so far.

Blood Power BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "God Eater" Series A special ability possessed by every member of Blood, Blood Power can amplify human will and transmit it at long ranges, giving the wielder power far beyond their normal limits.


Blood Power manifests different abilities in everyone it inhabits. One of Ciel's abilities is "Intuit", which can sense an enemy's data and transmit it to Ciel's allies. Nana can use "Attract", an ability that makes it easy for her to draw an Aragami's attention.


Blood Power also manifests itself as a unique combat ability, known as a "Blood Art", for each user's God Arc. These abilities are diverse and varied, and become stronger the more they are used.

The World BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series An online game that has swept the world, no pun intended. Offering players a chance to experience a tantalizing alternate reality, it has garnered massive amounts of attention and praise.


However, while glitches and problems with online games are sadly nothing the gaming public is unfamiliar with, The World at one point developed particularly odd errors and weird occurrences that even system administrators could not explain.


Finally, it was discovered that the disturbances were caused by the control program for the game, Morganna, which was attempting to prevent the birth of the ultimate AI, Aura.


The Morganna crisis was eventually resolved, and players began to return and enjoy everything The World had to offer. Unfortunately, a few years later, the game's developer suffered a huge disaster, and almost all of The World's data was lost. But even as players were mourning this loss, a sequel known as "The World Revision 2" (R:2 for short was released.


In time, R:2 gained more and more players, and over a year after it went on sale, Haseo logged in for the first time.

PC BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series The name given to the characters controlled by players in The World; in other words, their avatars inside the game.


Although PCs were originally supposed to be nothing more than characters in a game, a network virus once caused problems with PCs whose effects even extended to real-world players.


It was the .hackers, including Kite, who resolved this crisis.

Eight Phases BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series The name given to the eight parts that the control program of The World, Morganna, split herself into in order to destroy Aura.


They worked to spread the virus through the game and caused a multitude of errors, but ultimately they were defeated by Kite and his allies.


The Phases are composed of special data known as Epitaphs. In The World R:2, there are some special PCs with Epitaph data built into their character bodies. Haseo's PC is one of these, containing the date for the first phase, the Terror of Death.

Mac Anu BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series A town that exists on Delta Server, one of the multiple servers that comprise The World.


The first town that players of The World come to, it sells gear and items aimed at those just starting out on their adventures.


There is a teleportation device called a Chaos Gate in the middle of the town. By entering specific keywords in various combinations, players can travel to many different locations.

AIDA BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series An entity that exists outside the bounds of The World's specifications. Its name is an abbreviation of "Artificially Intelligent Data Anomaly".


Essentially a virus, when it infects PCs within The World, that PC's emotions are amplified to the point that they lose all rational thought. All feelings and desires that they had been keeping under control burst to the surface in a flurry of unbridled emotion.


The countless black bubbles that appear whenever AIDA manifests are a kind of intermediary that lets AIDA infiltrate The World.

Avatar BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series A manifestation of power that exceeds The World's specifications. Originally known as the Eight Phases, this power is derived from a special type of data called an Epitaph that is built into a select number of special PCs. These PCs, known as Epitaph Users, are the only ones who can make use of Avatars.


The names, forms, and abilities each Avatar possesses are different for every Epitaph, but they all share the ability to perform Data Drains, a technique capable of neutralizing AIDA.


Although Avatars are powerful enough to defeat ordinary PCs with a single blow, they also amplify the darkness that resides in their users' hearts, sometimes reaching the point where the user is no longer able to control their power with discretion.

Outer Dungeon BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment ".hack//" Series A spacious dungeon that exists outside the bounds of The World's specifications. Ordinary PCs are incapable of even seeing these dungeons.


Inside, they are made up of aggregates of countless pieces of fragmented data. They are home to bug monsters known as "Outer Bugs" that wander the zone and attempt to eliminate all intruders.

Shinra BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Namco X Capcom" The organization to which Reiji and Xiaomu belong.


Shinra is a special unit directly affiliated with the government that was created to deal with supernatural phenomena, monsters, and all that good stuff.


It has come into conflict many times with Ouma, an organization that opposes Shinra's ideals. It was during one such battle between the two that Reiji's father Shogo, also an agent of Shinra, was killed.

Ouma BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Namco X Capcom" The organization to which Saya belongs.


Ouma plots to fracture reality and create links with other dimensions and worlds, turning order into chaos.


While it has attempted a variety of initiatives, including the Tsukumo Project and the Byakuya Project, thus far all of their evil doings have successfully been prevented by Shinra.

Dragonturtle Mk. I BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "PXZ2 Original" A large vehicle designed for use on Shinra missions. It can hold more than 50 people, and while it is most often used as a ground transport, it can also transform into a flight model capable of air travel.


Urashima was heavily involved in its development and also serves as its driver. Despite its design as a heavy-duty personnel transport, it also houses roomy living quarters, and--owing to Urashima's personal tastes--an arcade, hot springs, and other entertainment facilities.

Koryuji Holdings BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "PXZ Original" The members of the Koryuji line have been monks since feudal times, working behind the scenes throughout history.


They currently remain involved in numerous clandestine dealings, including the establishment of governmental organizations.


They are also closely tied to Shinra, and in fact provided much of the capital funding development of the Dragonturtle Mk. I.


Another one of their roles has been to guard a treasure known as the "Portalstone", which houses a mysterious power. Once, when the Portalstone was stolen, the Koryuji family's only daughter, Mii, worked with Reiji and Xiaomu to combat powerful enemies and reclaim the stone.

Gnosis BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Xenosaga" Series Mysterious entities that oppose humanity. Also known as the Pilgrimage Fleet. They exist in a separate dimension called "imaginary space".


When agitated, they will briefly materialize a portion of their body into this dimension in order to attack humans with it.


A variety of different types have been confirmed, and for convenience each has been given the name of a mythical beast or monster.

Hilbert Effect BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Xenosaga" Series A limited perception field generation system that allows the Gnosis, entities which exist in the separate dimension "imaginary space", to be drawn into our own place of reality.


KOS-MOS and T-elos can use this ability.

Rennes-le-Château BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Xenosaga" Series A landmass that floats near the planet Michtam. Its depths contain a graveyard said to be the resting place of a certain holy woman.


KOS-MOS once fought T-elos here. However, KOS-MOS's Ver. 3 body was no match for T-elos's vastly superior strength, and she suffered a crushing defeat.

Arahabaki BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Soulcalibur V" An ancient demon said to be accompanied by eight serpents that move at the speed of lightning. It possesses human bodies and uses them as puppets.


Once, it was nearly defeated by the great ninja Taki, of the Fu-Ma clan, but it managed to escape. After destroying a nearby mountain village, it went on to possess the body of one of the village's babies. Taki could not bring herself to sacrifice the young child's life in order to destroy the demon, so she placed a powerful seal on Arahabaki and took the baby back to Fu-Ma Village to raise as if she were her own daughter.


That child, Natsu, still houses Arahabaki within her. When she makes use of its power, the seal Taki placed upon her back appears and glows bright red.

Fu-Ma Clan BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Soulcalibur V" A group of ninja that has protected the world from demons since ancient times.


It is made up of three separate factions: Fujibe, Inobe, and Imashibe. Natsu is a member of Fujibe, whose job is to face demons in battle head-on.


Natsu's weapons of choice, her dual kodachi, were personally forged by her master, Taki, who had studied under the direct tutelage of Enkai, the head of Inobe, the clan's weapons and armor faction. Each blade is infused with spiritual energy from the Fu-Ma clan's leader, Chie.

Shartos BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Summon Night 3" The sword Aty wields. Shartos revealed itself to Aty personally in response to her desperation to protect her pupil.


Aty relies on the magic sword's power in order to combat the stray Summoned Beasts that infest the Island of the Strays. Once, there was a battle between summoners on the island that was only ended when their magical energy was sealed off. This sealed magic is the source of Shartos's power.


When the sword's power is released, its wielder gains supernatural strength, but some believe it does so at the detriment of the wielder's health.

Evocation Gate BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment "Summon Night 3 A relic that lies in the far north of the Island of the Strays. It can act as a gate between worlds.


Every one of the island's residents arrived at the island via this gate. It was originally created for use in summoning experiments and was designed to make summons smooth and automatic.


However, one day, a war broke out between summoners. The gate's central hub was destroyed and the gate itself rendered inoperable. Today, it has been closed off to prevent people from stumbling upon it and inadvertently summoning mysterious, dangerous beings that could threaten the world's peace.


Even now, the souls of those who lost their lives on the island are said to remain trapped there, wandering aimlessly and endlessly around the gate.

A long time ago, the god of Marvel Land gave one of these to every inhabitant of the land. The people grew the seeds with loving care, and in time, their wish for a green, peaceful, and bountiful land became a reality.


However, in time, some humans grew wicked hearts and sought to keep all the seeds for themselves, wresting them from their fellow men by force. They grew from the seeds fearsome weapons that displayed their might and strength.


In the midst of this chaos, the demon Kamuz stole the one remaining seed. Bereft of their seeds, the people suffered under famine and malice, until Valkyrie descended from the heavens in order to save the land.

Bionis Nintendo "Xenoblade Chronicles" Bionis and Mechonis, the two ancient gods who fought to a standstill long ago. Now Bionis's body is home to a new world full of bountiful nature, where Homs, Nopon, High Entia, and many other races and creatures all live together.


Homs, a race closely resembling humans, have formed colonies on Bionis's lower region and live together in groups. Fiora once used to live in such a colony, until Mechons attacked it and stole her away to Mechonis, where she was transformed into her current form.

Mechonis Nintendo "Xenoblade Chronicles" Bionis and Mechonis, the two ancient gods who fought to a standstill long ago. Once, Mechonis's body was home to a race of beings called Machina, who built a great city on top of Mechonis. But one day, the city was nearly destroyed when Bionis suddenly attacked it. Today, only a few Machina remain alive in a hidden village known as "Fallen Arm".


The Machina possess highly advanced technology, and their sky-covering screens, teleportation devices, and factories for producing Mechons continue to function in the present day.

Halidom of Ylisse Nintendo "Fire Emblem Awakening" A kingdom that devoutly follows the divine dragon Naga, who is said to have once saved the world from the fell dragon Grima a long time ago.


Ylisse is ruled by Chrom's older sister, Emmeryn, as its Exalt. Though the neighboring kingdom of Plegia has frequently invaded Ylisse's territory, Emmeryn's devotion to pacifism has kept the country's armaments to a bare minimum. As a result, Chrom has formed his own militia in order to counter the threat posed by other kingdoms.


Every member of Ylisse's royal family bears a mark known as the Brand of the Exalt. Chrom's is on his right shoulder.

Falchion Nintendo "Fire Emblem Awakening" A regalia sword that has been passed down through generations in the Halidom of Ylisse. It is said to have been wielded by the first Exalt of Ylisse in his victory against the fell dragon Grima.


The Falchion can only be wielded by members of the royal family and is currently in Chrom's possession. Normally, only one Falchion should exist in the world, but at present there are two, the other wielded by Chrom's daughter from the future, Lucina. The one Chrom possesses is a sealed Falchion, and the one wielded by Lucina is called the Parallel Falchion.

Fire Emblem Nintendo "Fire Emblem Awakening" A powerful and sacred artifact belonging to the Halidom of Ylisse. Shaped much like a shield, it is in fact said to have been wielded as such by the first Exalt of Ylisse, who used it to seal away the fell dragon Grima.


The Fire Emblem can be affixed with the holy gemstones of Argent, Sable, Gules, Azure, and Vert, said to house the power of the divine dragon Naga. Installing all five upon the Emblem enables a ritual known as the Awakening that can unlock the true power of the Emblem. However, because this overwhelming force could be dangerous in the wrong hands, at present all of the gems have been removed.
