Mega Man franchise is a series of 2D action platform games, developed by Capcom and created by a former designer, illustrator and creator staff Keiji Inafune. Originating on the NES, the Mega Man franchise has spawned a multitude of video games across many platforms, as well as a variety of associated media. The series centers around a robot boy, who becomes Mega Man to stop an evil mad scientist, Dr. Wily who wants to take over the world using Dr. Light's Robot Masters, who were either created or corrupted and later create his own Robot Masters to destroy Mega Man.
